Zumba

Modern Pilates

Total Body Workout

A fun cardiovascular dance workout using high and low impact moves suitable for all levels of fitness. This is followed by body conditioning and strength exercises to target those bums, legs and tums. This class finishes with a relaxing stretch.

Classes are £5 and are pay as you go.

No need to book, just turn up. You will need to bring clean trainers to change into, hand weights if you have them, some water to keep hydrated and a towel.

The Zumba program fuses mesmerising Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow dance steps combined with workout moves to create a unique fitness program that will blow you away. The music gets your feet tapping and your heart thumping! Mixing all Latin genres of music with all Latin styles of dance such as Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Samba, Cha Cha, Cumbia, Reaggaeton, Flamenco even Bollywood and more.

Zumba is all about the music, dancing and having fun. This is the new fitness hype all around the world! No demanding choreography! Zumba is there for everybody who loves up tempo music.

Classes are 45 mins and cost £5 please not it may be necessary to book at busy times.

Please bring clean trainers to change into as well as plenty of water to keep hydrated.

Join one of our Modern Pilates Classes!

Modern Pilates is literally a modern approach to Pilates based exercise. It is a combination of stability techniques used in physiotherapy and traditional Pilates movements.

Modern Pilates addresses both the mind and body in its approach. The programme is designed with precision in mind and does not rely on repetition or momentum. It addresses trunk stability throughout. Back and upper body problems are associated with spine instability and weak core abdominal muscles. Many of the Modern Pilates principles are based on up-to-date research from the world of physiotherapy and other holistic forms of exercise. It also addresses both shoulder girdle stabilisation, maintenance of the natural alignment and form of the spine along with precise movement and muscle recruitment.

Pilates classes are run on a course basis of between 5 and 8 weeks, places are limited and should be booked in advance. Classes are £7 per class. Payment is requested before the first session to reserve your place.

If classes are missed due to holidays, ‘catch up’ classes may be taken in the same term if spaces are available on other courses. Please always check with me first for availability.
