I am hugely grateful to Linda for raising the Osteoporosis issue. Without her alerting me to the 5 key indicators during a class I would never have considered it might affect me. I took myself off to my Doctor and once I appraised her of my history and indicators I was referred for a scan and was diagnosed last Summer. As Linda often says it is the hidden disease but, importantly, it can be reversed by diet, exercise and drugs. I’m now much more aware of what I should do/shouldn’t do with Linda & Sue’s input – thank you ladies and I would encourage anyone who has several of the indicators – slim/early menopause/Mother (grandmother) diagnosis/low calcium diet (especially in childhood)/broken bone(s), to ask for a scan.
