Linda has been well known for teaching fitness and Pilates in Knutsford for over 30 years. In 2007 she founded Fit4life and turned her attention mainly to Pilates after qualifying as a Modern Pilates Instructor, teaching her classes in local halls and community centres. Linda’s Pilates classes grew significantly in popularity and so in 2010 with client numbers increasing she found a “home” for her business at Gilbert House, and created the towns first purpose designed Pilates Studio.

Along with supporting the other instructors in the team, Linda continues to teach and focuses on her own personal development by attending courses and workshops on a regular basis.

The most recent addition is her Spine-safe Pilates accreditation, which enables Linda to focus on complex spinal conditions such as Osteoporosis, Spondylolisthesis, Spondylosis and Stenosis.

Some of her other Pilates qualifications include: CYQ Level 3 in Pilates Matwork; Pilates,  Back care, Diamond Pilates for Pelvic Floor health, Pilates Hip & Knee, Pilates Shoulder Stability, Pilates for the Older Adult, Spine safe Pilates certification, APPI Osteoporosis training, hypermobility, Advanced Matwork, Pilates on the ‘Hog’, Advanced Aerobics Instructor Certification, RSA. “One of the most satisfying things we do at Fit4life is to help people learn how Clinical Pilates can enrich their quality of life” says Linda, “and what’s so pleasing to me is the atmosphere of fun and laughter that runs through so many of our classes, It’s wonderful to hear from our members how much they enjoy the friendships made and sense of belonging in the Fit4Life community; we have many members who have been with Fit4life for more than 10 years – we must be doing something well!”
